I'm DUM. I think I was a douche and didnt mean it...

Today two people like waved and nodded "HI" to me today at the gym. I dont know who these people are and so of course I didnt expect it so I just stared at them, and then looked over my shoulder because I thought it was at someone else but there wasnt anyone behind me and by the time I looked back the people had sorta "sad face" on and walk by.. I feel like a PRICK but I have no idea who these people were. Ive seen them before at the gym but I dont know them so for them to wave I just assumed it wasnt to me but I guess it was. Im only saying this because I figure its from the blog because its doubled in readers lately and this guy came up to me yesterday and told me he reads it so I wonder if thats what it is. SO, If it was a blog reader and they WERE waving to me PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY, I dont mean to be a dick. I was just working out and not thinking that people are just nice. SORRY!!! I need to learn to have a smile readily available, but I think Im getting better at it.

That is because you are a typical New Yorker. But, when you are in a small establishment, like your gym, you can afford to smile back at everyone who smiles at you. The worst that can happen is that someone you are not attracted to will hit on you. *wink*

Well honey, I think that's the price of being famous!

You're a totally HOT celebrity. I see your work and I read your mind and I just feel so 'down here' and anonymous. You're all up there and sexy and quirky. Fashion genius trapped in a tall muscular body. If I ever come to your country I'd love to be your crazed stalker ;p

I get that at gym sometimes ( I'm photographer in sydney so fair few people recognise me & I sometimes forget faces when there are thousands!),

If that happens I usually just do the half smile thing though so I don't feel like a dick when they walk past & talk to someone else.

Would be better if they came & said "Hi , love your blog mate" instead though.

I think it'd be daft of them to wave to you if you wouldn't recognise them though - it's not as if you are walking down a red carpet with media watching so would be expecting randoms to wave at you.
