Did I just see a FAKE "Hollwood" styling a "fake" GRACE SLICK?!?!?!?

NOTHING is gonna stop me from listening to this OVER AND OVER!!! This song is MY JAM!!! I have HORRIBLE taste in music. I REALLY LIKE IT when bands start having to be "creative" because whatever gimmick they had isnt working anymore so they have to open themselves to more "creative" options and THAT is when they make the GOOD SHIT. Like I much prefer Kiss AFTER THE MAKE -UP or STARSHIP to Airplane, I mean c'mon would you rather be on an airplane with GRACE SLICK or a STARSHIP?!?!?

Mannequin was such a great sit-com plot... total pop-corny!
almost Flick It Up material...

MY ROOMMATE LOVES THIS SONG AND TERRORIZES ALL MY FRIENDS WITH IT CONSTANTLY.

WE CANNOT ESCAPE.

"What is wrong with liking this song?"

It's corny and saccharin, that's what! "Soft Rock" is a contradiction of terms and heresy. Almost anything safe for the elevator is too dangerous for me.

This song is broadcast repeatedly in the Seventh Circle of Hell!

I assume Dave only likes it for the camp value; something that's so BAD it's GOOD.

I racked my brain trying to think of ANY SONG IN HISTORY WORSE than Starship's "Nothing's Going to Stop Us Now."

All I could come up with is the KIDS INCORPORATED version of the same song!

P.S. Can you spot Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, back when she was just Stacy Ann Ferguson?

This song is so GAY, and I mean that only in the very best sense of the word. :) This song is just pure fun. As were SO many from that era. Weddings love this song. I get tired of people ripping on the 80's fun, so now I'm going to rant on what came after. There have been plenty on BAD songs in the 90's that stunk to high heaven and don't get played at all--but at the time Mtv hyped them like they were the friggin new Beatles. I'll name a few...98 degrees "I do", Will Smith "Men in Black" (seriously is anyone singing that song in the shower? Even if you are it's a total rip-off of "Forget-me-knots") Marcy Playground "Sex And Candy", Barbra Streisand and Bryan Adams "I Finally Found Someone" and Deep Blue Something "Breakfast At Tiffany's" = blec Shudder blec! And don't forget "whoomp there it is" "who let the dogs out" "the tootsie roll" and any other catch phrase song of that era. Starship still gets played, even "We built this city" gets played. :) But music like art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To each his/her own.
