Finally , FOUR YEARS in the making...SATANIC TREASURE by David Chlopecki

My golden Skeletor arrived from London. Dont ask me why it took the guy FOUR YEARS and four Skeletors to make it, he said because the plastics for each part were different so when he tried making the mold for each each time the process had to be different... i dunno sounds legit to me (side note as I type I smell something BURNING and the landlord "hired" Mexican slaves to do construction downstairs..not good) ( double side note- I feel bad for the Mexican illegal labor force here, they might get treated like slaves in LA too but at least there its their turf and they have friends and culture and WARMTH, here theyre like huddled in the cold and scared of being trampled by the tall people in black clothes that ignore them, I dont speak spanish but "THIS SUCKS AND IM NERVOUS AND I WANNA GO HOME" is a facial expression that translates into any language)
..Anyways ( and yes Im aware that the transition between speaking out for the plight of a "slave labour force" and then my GOLDEN SKELETOR is VERY 80s REGAN ERA) hes solid silver and gold plated not SOLID GOLD but fully articulated, the only problem is he doesnt stand on his own so I have to make a little stand for him. Even his armour and weapons are separate pieces, its fierce. I plan on getting all of my He-man villains made in gold... I dont care about the good guys though, they never meant anything to me. I just will have a guy do it here, not that the guy didnt do a beautiful job. Its FIERCE, like something from that pile of treasure from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride fierce but four years is a TOUCH too long, and dont even think of touching it if you come here, its going under ALARMED GLASS!

My thing was G.I. Joe, not HeMan. However, I felt the same thing about the good guys as you do. They were dull. My mother would always buy 1 good guy for every bad guy to balance things out... When I played with them I always made the good guys win, they were sexier looking. Especially the Dreadnocks...

can i look at it then?

...no?

oh. *stares at floor suitably chastized*

I had a much bigger crush on He-Man than the villains, especially this hot bodybuilder lookalike they had of him at the state fair when I was 11 years old.

But I could see myself skull-fucking Skeletor.

Certainly a crowning piece of bling! Where ever will you display it that it will get the prominence it deserves?

All good and golden things are worth waitng for.
its like the movie quest for the Maltese Falcon - beauty and that that is desired are worth being patient for .

Every time I see Skeletor mentioned I can't help but think of this comic and laugh: http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2005/20051216h.jpg

Also, this reminds me of the solid gold Dig 'Em (the Smacks spokesfrog) from Family Guy that Mayor West built.

MAN!! I covet your Skeletor bud! Hot blog but I'd love one of those figures. Does the artist have a link or do you know of any resources stateside you're considering using? I'd like to send some business their way too.
