My friend didnt know he had what are known as "night terrors" which are different then nightmares, or sleep walking.. I find them interesting /freaky

One of the weird things about them is that when people have night terrors and appear conscious their brainwaves are basically flat, unlike when people have a dream or are conscious and its the standard pattern or dreaming when you have rems, I dont think people can consciously be active and have a "flat" brainwave.... I think its interesting and i dunno wy there isnt a horror movie made about them yet because theyre frightening and unexplained which is the formula for any horror/sci fi flick.

In Whitley Streiber's novel "The Hunger" Mrs. Blaylock (Catherine Deneuve in the film) has night terrors but that was left out of the movie.

I was going to say that! I am rereading it now. A new version of the book is apparently being filmed
