I know I have terrible taste in music BUT..

I was never one of those kids into music and new what was hot and new and edgy. I cannot get this song out of my head though and I spread the 99 cents to buy it... Im sure its not even popular but I have to say I love how the entire album is clearly VERY Olivia inspired... though this is a remix of the song and much more HARD, I couldnt get the original it was blocked, but this was the best of the remixes in my mind.

OMG! I couldn't agree more. Specifically track #3 in the album ("Alive") is a direct tribute to the Xanadu soundtrack and the sound that came out of the collaboration between ONJ and ELO.

I rest my case or else: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_fyoBBYnLY

Oh, I LOVE this song!

I didn't know about them until the UNZIPPED blog article last week. But her hits have all been wonderful. Two faves:

I've been listening to this song for a couple of months now. The radio edit is THE best 80s song of 2010,

I also listen to terrible schlocky Top-40 Dance Mixes. My current "to go" playlist (which I pretty much only listen to while working out) is the remixes of Rocket by Goldfrapp, Get Up by Kimberly Davis, Bulletproof by La Roux, I Won't Kneel & Paper Romance by Groove Armada, and that stupid fucking Telephone by Lady Gaga (along with some old classics from the early '90s). All of which is just stupid pop music, but it gets me up and moving at the gym. Four or five remixes of each song, hit random play and get moving.
