Just watch the first 10 seconds, get your GIGGLE and move on...

....and YES I really was watching W.A.S.P videos.... Blacky Lawless is FIERCE, NOBODY would show the appointing of a RHINESTONE CUP as a sign of bad ass masculinity now a days.. W.A.S.P had balls and they rule for it. I wish they had a hit with a HOOK though, they never had a song that nailed it for me but I loved how they gave you exactly what you wanted like a CARTOON of a metal band. Like on GI JOE when COBRA came up with SLITHER to subliminally control CHILDRENS BRAINS and the BARONESS performs a FETISH SCENE on everyone including the WAY HOT and WAY GAY Shipwreck........
Oh and if you wonder why I know a little about METAL its because Im from UPSTATE New York AND the 80s at the SAME TIME... Heavy Metal was sorta the back drop sound track to my childhood reality which I think is why Im so into New Wave and Italo Disco because to me that stuff was the ESCAPE and I NEVER GOT IT, so now Im STILL INTO IT. They were NOT serving GRACE JONES, DEAD OR ALIVE, or BONEY M in GLENS FALLS. Once in a BLUE MOON a song would randomly break through the metal on the radio and Id LIVE FOR IT like AMADEUS by FALCO ( my first 45 ever) or PUTTIN ON THE RITZ by TACO but they were FEW and FAR BETWEEN... Not that I dont appreciate metal, I live for a shoulder pad, lip stick and a KRIMPED WIG on a STRAIGHT MAN but they never had the beats per minute I really needed to seriously turn it out as a 7 year old...

I was in a bar the other night and they were playing a DVD full of old metal videos. DAMN, I absolutely do have an appreciation for metal, loved it, grew up on it. Those songs, even if the videos have not aged well, are still so fucking sexy. We are doing a metal night soon here. I will be orchestrating it and picking the music.

I got New Wave at home from my older siblings, heavy metal from my cousin and punk and rap from my friends.

But I only knew W.A.S.P. as a T-shirt stoners would wear to school.

Heavy metal had to work the hardest for my affection, but I love me some Queen, Twisted Sister, KISS, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue or Guns and Roses now and then.

Queen, Rush and AC/DC are my favorites, but I don't think they're in the same league as the preening Hair Metal queens. They're more Arena Rock; substance.

Yeah serious metal was for GRUBS and SATAN worshippers and you really only got it in full dosage at the COUNTY FAIR.
My uncle had a WASP wallet though in VELCRO... I thought it was shocking and never told my mom.

I think the Baroness's "Cold Slither" Plan actually worked on me as a kid- but i was never unprogrammed??
As soon as I heard the first notes of that song just now I dropped to my knees...
