There's a really shitty article about your pictures at
http://fashionindie.com/wtf-unicorn-man-will-haunt-your-nightmares-steal-your-heals/

but i dont care what they say, i love them! my favourite one is where you're laying back and have got your glasses in your mouth. your smile is sooooo sexy and your eyes are really beautiful!

I know , what a seriously self loathing cunt that gaysian is.... whatevs, its annoying when its so obvious but all you have to do is roll youre eyes and go "ya.. its not anything close to jealously compounded with self loathing...never?!"

I left her a comment, I originally left my name , website, etc... but if she comes back here she'll be able to see I openly said it... and I think she may go to my gym... maybe cant tell... If I do clock her I will walk right up and ask her about it though.

Dave - you are a male Diva now ! :-) anybody that can conceptualize eroticism to include pink hot top sneakers and a FABULOUS Glass ball gag - hell he is pushing a Rocky Horror =esque cultural time warp. Brava and Bravo !

These are so much fun!

The self-described "journalist" who wrote the fashionindie.com article can't even spell "heels!"

He wrote "Unicorn man will haunt your nightmares and steal your heals."

So either It's a juvenile misspelling of women's shoes, or he thinks that Dave has the power to stop your blood from clotting.

If Dave can render anyone a hemophiliac, I sure wouldn't want to say anything bad about him!

Dear David : You are hatefully awesome in all of those photos and not gross at all.

And by hatefully, I mean that 90 percent of me thinks all those photos are great and sexy and wishes you the best, while 10 percent of me is incredibly jealous because you are 10 times more attractive than I was at your age, and secretly hopes you get an acne blemish right before your next date.

So don't let anyone's inner bitter queen darken your day. :3

i LOVE my poster, it's gorgeous and fierce and FUCKING WEIRD, but i LOVE the side view one too, and i really like how it says UNICORN on it, as if there was some confusion. if i had money for two, that'd be the other one i'd get. and i like the half-shirt one, where you're wearing the flesh coloured do-rag underneath. it's like, barrio unicorn person? uh, GENIUS?!

i mean, they're ALL great, but we all have our favorites, you know?

David Mason said...

Yeah I call the "ethnic" one the Suerta Rican

OH WAIT! i thought you were doing limited edition posters of each shot you've posted, but it's just the one, huh? i was kind of like '"maybe i should have waited, in the event a new one comes out that's better"'

i still like the first one the best, though :)

Yeah the one print is it :)

Love the new images, the header is great :)

Also I've been wanting to ask you if you have any advice about learning to make headpieces/masks/hats. I'm interested in fashion but it's not what I'm going to school for so I'm mostly limited to whatever I can teach myself or figure out on my own. I was wondering if you have any advice or know some resources where I can find information about construction techniques and materials. I can find tutorials for conventional items but I'm more interested in the kind of work you do and work from artists like Philip Treacy.

Funny you should ask and reference Philip treacy because after graduating cal arts i went to fit for accessory design and to take the hat design course you had to take one year of other accessory design first, so i was very eager once i got to the hat class and the first thing I ask the teacher after going to school for a year is " How do I make this?!" and I show her a treacy hat... she just shrugged her shoulders and said " I dunno" I gagged. but it was a good lesson because I just had to learn it myself. After making hats for a while very heavy handedly i finally got to work on a shoot for italian vogue and had a REAL philip treacy hat in my hands and I totally inspected it and figured out how it was made, or at least to the best of my ability.
SO the best I can say is rig it all you can and over time youll just figure stuff out, thats all i did, also add me on face book and check out my hats folder in the photos section and if you have any questions about how to make certain pieces I can tell you how i did it:)
