If I had seen this commercial as a kid...

Id probably want to drink SCRUNCH BOOTS?!.. but I never saw it. I DID however see WEIRD SCIENCE about 4000 and this is clearly a mega rip off, but so is Pepsi, so it somehow works... I totally want a Pepsi. I dont think I have EVER ordered a Pepsi.. seriously.. Ive had one, but I have NEVER in my life sat down and asked for a Pepsi, which Ive never thought of until this very moment, thats sorta strange to me...

Maybe you´re secretly a closeted Texan... from Sordid Lives:
"Bring me a coke, please."
"What kind?"
"Dr Pepper."

I remember that commercial!

But only now do I appreciate how awesome it was! I love "Modern Love."

I'm the exact opposite. I prefer to have Pepsi only because in the South, COKE RULES and I hated it. So it was in reaction to the monopoly that Coke had.

Seriously, I would be ecstatic to go somewhere and find Pepsi- it got to the point where only the "cool" places carried Pepsi.

I loved that commercial when it aired. About a year ago I mentioned it to a friend of a similar age while we were chatting about David Bowie. But they claimed not to remember it.

I couldn't find it on the internet and was beginning to wonder if I had just imagined it. Thanks for posting that video!
