Just the way things should be done...

This commercial isnt that fierce but its just THAT WAY, the way that I love, the way my brain works, I dont need to have a person saying how good a product is, just give me the RAW ELEMENTS, Gold, Black, Beer, fancy... Got it!
I love the lady in a spandex tube made to look like POURING BEER and the fact that to sell this beer they NEEDED to have a silhouette of a MAN with a FAN with THAT HAIR, those of us from the 80s know THAT HAIR was ONLY used a method to tell you "This guy is a money obsessed douchebag" ... CUT TO COCKATOO ?! And the music is just dramatic and semi nightmarish and awesome.. They should use it to sell pancakes, itd be chic to eat carbs if they were marketed this way.
Actually no wait, I take it back. This commercial is TOTALLY FIERCE. The matte black facial make up to look like shadow?!? Though I dont know why they didnt have her open her eye to reveal that its sort of a trick... but whatever its still a 10 .. or should I say 1664?!

I believe this ad was directed by Jean Paul Goude. You should look up his other videos, he's AMAZING! he was married to Grace Jones in the late 70s & early 80s. He pretty much created all her looks.

I love those numbers designed in the Memphis style. They remind me of the styling of Alessi products. I recently found a mint condition Alessi teapot at the Goodwill for just $6.00, the country bumpkins here in Portland Oregon don't have a clue what great design is. That swirl hat in the commercial looks like something that YOU would design!
