My friend just put this on his facebook page and it reminded me how...

I always liked the song and I have NO IDEA WHY, but at the TRUCK STOP by my house where I grew up, that had SHOWERS, where I would order POTATO SALAD and a FRIED BREAD DOUGH for DINNER, they had this on the JUKE BOX and Id play it. It was AWESOME?!

I so love this song. It's on my ipod. Too funny that you played it at a truck stop. I can just visualize a young Dave jamming to it while eating fried dough.

his autobiography was the best thing ever.

you can get it used for pennies on the dollar on amazon, and totally worth it. as far as manlady biographies go, it is second ONLY to Holly Woodlawn's autobiography 'a low life in high heels.' That one's kind of expensive. wish i'd managed to hang onto my copy.
