Alexandre Vaulthier... I think people need to know his name.

If I was a genetic female, this is ALL I would wear. I love how its beautiful, but also takes the design concepts to levels fetishism, not only in design but also in function, that skirt at 3:25 that she can BARELY walk in?!... and the gold dragon scale bolero immediately afterward?!?!? GAG... Yes some of the looks are a little gaudy, but I think its FREEING. Every moment of the day does not have to be CLASSY. Im so BORED with classy 24/7, classy is for the elderly or those without a sexual identity. I think a little tacky is exciting, it shows independence, sexuality, joie de vivre, and a strong sense of self, all of which are more interesting then classy. I doesnt take much to be classy, in fact the trick to being classy is DOING NOTHING... boring!...Everything in this collection is exactly as I would want it... ugh. So happy for him. Its no surprise he worked for Mugler and Gaultier... Im NOT into fashion but I really could be into Alexandre Vaulthier.. .I mean the name alone is perfect?! but imagine the menswear... SO ME?!... SHOULDERS, WAISTS ( not so me but we can dream) , and GOLD. Everything is strictly by the super villain textbook... Im very excited to see this name grow.

It is a beautiful collection. I too liked the dragon scale bolero and the shiny fabrics. I have a sequin dress with no back and broad shoulders. It is so 80's though. The open front dresses can be very hard to wear as they don't always stay in place, and I noticed that one model had nipple showing. The designer is a hunk!

I so loved the collection. It had that 1980's Dynasty/Dallas diva look to it. Plus, I loved the enhanced shoulders look. I don't know if they are doing shoulder pads or special stitching to construct the clothes that way, but I am such a sucker for the 80's-over-the-top-masculine-influenced female shoulder look.

that skirt is so difficult, its FETISCHE. David, my name is nico, i'm writing from melbourne, australia and i've been reading your blog for many years and have observed your attitude evolve over the years and i have to say over the past month you have come across as exceptionally positive. in a way you are becoming my role model because you celebrate diversity in fetish which is something which we should all accept and develop for our own good, and not be shy about at all. Let's get our uglies, our demons out and VOGUE with them. fuk'n WERK!. so thankyou, David. Bring the FETISH. I need to get me a BODY SUIT XXX\\
