Peter Sato is fierce and he isnt even on Wikipedia....

I could barely find a word on Peter Sato online, and not much work was available. His work goes from mega fierce to kinda shitty but the mega fierce stuff is genius especially being its from 1980 and looks like designs that wouldnt have happened till about 97'. He must have known someone as he has a Grace Jones portrait so he was somehow in the loop...

the next-to-last one is freaky because the visor on the helmet is just like beak-informed line the heroes wore on the BATTLE OF THE PLANETS cartoon? -JMS

I remember the greeting cards with this Peter Sato airbrush art. By the way you once posted that you were looking for a six foot poster of various airbrushed ice creams from the 80's, it was not a poster, but instead it was a greeting card that came folded with its own envelope. I hope that this helps you in search for it, I'm looking for one too.

For a moment i thought that he must have done the sleeves for the first two Lipps Inc. albums from ´79 and ´80
(http://www.discogs.com/artist/Lipps%2C+Inc.?anv=Lipps+Inc.) but that was someone else.
