Not to be a twat but...Does anybody NOT have a tattoo?

I REMEMBER the TRIBAL TATTOO EPIDEMIC of 1996!!!! I mean it looks nice, but EVERYONE has FULL SLEEVES NOW and like INVOLVED chest pieces and stuff and although I think it looks good I feel its gonna be just like the tribal thing and they're all gonna have to move to a yet determined city to live together like lepers, or the citizens of Wilton Manors Florida and Palm Springs! I think thats where everyone with tribal tattoos was forced to set up camp. Id sorta be pissed if I was one of those people that had the nerve to get sleeves in the 90s like a few of my friends did, but I guess you can tell who's are recent and who did it pre-trend overload. Where did all the tribal tattoo people go?! I don't see them anymore!!! They couldn't all have been lasered off. Is that what the full sleeves are for, to cover the MOD PRIM? I GIGGLE/CRINGE typing that because Im embarrassed to know what that term MEANT. Noticed I didn't say MEANS.

I too question the appeal of the sleeves. Unfortunately MANY of the guys look like major street trash/punks. Most are young guys who cannot have considered their future and trying to find a job. Many employers would not hire them if they were to deal with the public. Remember porn star Steve Cannon? Had a stunning tribal tattoo then went for a grotesque sleeve on the other arm and looked soooo greasy. And the guys don't seem to know when to quit getting them. My personal feelings about them.

I find myself watching a lot of Eastern European porn these days because it's more or less ink free. Unless the model is Maori (or Sagat) it's total boner kill for me.

I've been thinking this as well lately. I was in the Vera's on Davie and the table over was about 8 boys about 10-15 years younger (I'm 38) with tats and beards and the whole indie/alternative/hipster look. They were all hot, and I wouldn't pass up a ride on any; but after eavesdropping on their conversation I realized that these were just boys playing at being men. It made me think of the "clone" look of the late 70's when guys were reacting to the hippie era's look which had been percived as more effeminite. When I was a teen for some reason there was still alot of this old porn floating around the city (Vancouver) and I jerked myself silly looking at all these guys who I perceived as being so much older and sooo butch - but now I realize that most of those guys in that porn were probably only 25, maybe 30 years old at the time. Everyone thinks they are so mature and know-it-all, but that's probably the age when you are actually just starting to learn.
Oh yeah, Madonna played 2 nights here last weekend. On the night I went with my ex I wore the Slick It Up shorts I bought this summer. Even if he can only handle my personality for short periods, he had to admit the shorts made him want back in my fat ass. If all he take of me is a few hours every so often just to fuck instead of being fulltime bf's I got no problem with that. ;D

Tattoos aren't an issue for most employers, especially if they can't see them. It's become rare for people to not have at least one tattoo and or piercing. Back in the 90's I worked for a hotel and the new laundry guy always wore long sleeve shirts, even in the heat of a Missouri summer. Finally our manager asked him about it, he sheepishly admitted to having full sleeves on both arms. The manager said "Oh, that's ALL? Big deal. You don't have to cover them up." and he wore tank tops from there on out. My husband is a professional retail manager, has been for over a decade, has tats on both forearms, wears short sleeves daily, and that's never been an issue for an employer.
