watching this video on your page, i am almost certain that she is in fact or at one time a boy with some identity issues. there is one specific scene, after she gets the chandelier off of her head, that she looks like Alex Arquette, well only if Alexis would Glam up a little more, and left the Camp-Cooky out.

I ain't gonna lie, I like Lady Guhgah but I can agree that she doesn't really stand for anything, her singing is rather bland, her songs all sound the same and the only thing different about her is the styling... but that's it. I disagree with the styling as I think the girl has some say in what and who she wears more than the other pop singers and while the Warhol comment may have been stupid (I would know as talking art like like talking football to me...I just blink and nod), she comes up with some interesting shit to wear.

And at least she's more interesting as a product than Rihanna whose like the new Aaliyah/Brandy/Monica, or Britney Spears and a few others since I don't remember they're songs either.

But like I said, I like her I ain't gonna lie and I can catch myself in my shower going "I wanna take a ride on your Disco stick" without even knowing what they hell i'm saying and wondering who in the hell calls it a disco stick.

If any critic here thinks they did anything of any artistic significance, or of any significance at all, when they were that age -- THEN PROVE IT BECAUSE I DON'T BELIEVE YOU. My big problem with Lady Gaga is that too many of her songs sound the same.

The same beat and instruments get old fast. They are overproduced, synthetic noises, too. Maybe I just prefer rock or I'm sick of current pop.

But Dave is right about the emotionless void that she is; I never picked up on that before. I guess I have loved some other emotionless divas like Nico; Deborah Harry could occasionally get monotone. But their lyrics and compositions are emotionally compelling, not to mention Blondie being more diverse than Gaga.

I also hate the "gay herd mentality" stampeding toward Lady Gaga. "I like it because everyone else does!"

I have to agree. I would think that all of these wonderfully placed "artists" would use their popularity at least for good causes (inspite of not being real). Lady Gaga was at the Equality March though, I give her that. But what is Rhiana doing? Why aren't they all out for good causes like safe sex? I have a hard time understanding why they are not doing more.
